Patricia Mcknight is an award-winning multimedia journalist from Milwaukee, Wis. She's won Collegiate Journalist of the Year 2020 and Second Place-Feature Photography awarded by the Wisconsin Newspaper Association. She's also been awarded Best Soft Feature Story and Second Place-Best Still Photograph from the Milwaukee Press Club.
She's written for USA Today, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Milwaukee Magazine, Black Women 50+ Health and Lifestyle Magazine and Media Milwaukee. She's also written for broadcast at Spectrum News 1 Wisconsin.
While covering Wisconsin’s spring election for the Journal Sentinel in 2020, she captured what’s been referred to as an “era-defining image.” The photograph she took has been displayed on various national news outlets including CNN, ABC world news and the Rachel Maddow show on MSNBC.
She is currently looking for multimedia journalist, editorial, digital content, and media specialist and communication specialist positions across the country.
